Peanut scientist’s art on display at PST ART
Go see George Washington Carver’s art and lab equipment in LA, or just check out the interesting links in this issue of Mixture.
PST ART is an art festival in Southern California. This year’s theme is Art and Science, so if you’re in the area, you’ll have a lot of exciting things to explore. I won’t be able to attend myself, but I might highlight some of the exhibits and projects on Forbes later this autumn. The festival runs for several months, so there’ll be time. It looks really good!

One of the PST ART exhibits that I wish I could come visit is World Without End: The George Washington Carver Project. From the exhibit description:
“World Without End showcases Carver’s rarely seen artworks alongside his laboratory equipment, paint samples, and formulas.”
This will be at the California African American Museum in LA from September 18 to March 2nd 2025.
I first heard that this exhibit was coming when I wrote about George Washington Carver’s background as an artist a few years ago. That story also became one of the chapters in Hey, There’s Science In This.
